This fan uses Smart Power
®
technology and can be run off of four power sources:
(1) Built-in rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries,
(2) 8 D-size alkaline batteries (not included),
(3) Car adapter (included), or
(4) AC adapter (included for indoor use only).
With Smart Power
®
technology, the built-in power control chip automatically chooses the least expensive energy source. The
fan will always use the AC or car adapter as a first source of power, rechargeable batteries second and alkaline batteries third.
We strongly recommend only using fresh alkaline batteries or the supplied O2 COOL® adapters.
INSTALLATION
To attach feet, turn fan to rear side. Feet are marked “Rear Right” and “Rear Left.” Attach “Rear Right” foot to rear lower right
of fan. Attach “Rear Left” foot to rear lower left of fan. Feet will click into place.
USING RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
- When you purchase this fan, the rechargeable batteries are not fully charged. For first time use, charge the batteries for at
least 12 hours. Do not charge the rechargeable batteries for more than 24 hours. Adapter jack is located on the front lower
